Villa Anatoli
The House
Villa Anatoli nestles on a quiet hillside on the eastern
side of the Ionian island of Lefkada, just 5 minutes away from the town of Nidri. This
offers you a quiet and private getaway while restaurants, beaches and other
facilities are in a few minutes reach.
The house has
been built to very luxurious standards. Every bedroom has its own
balcony and seaview. In the summer you can enjoy air conditioning in all
of the rooms or you have the option to leave the doors open and use the
pull down insect screen that are built into the doors and windows.
Central heating also
makes the house very suitable for renting in winter.
The surrounding of
the house have been maintained as much as possible to maintain the
'country feel'. The plot that the house is on is very large (4500 m2)
and is an old olive grove. Next to the house is a separate bbq area with
its own table and chairs and here you can also enjoy the view and the
shade from the various hammocks in the garden.
You will have one of the most picturesque views
around, looking out on the calmer waters of the east coast and
overlooking the famous Onassis island of Scorpios, the other islands and
mainland Greece. The eastern aspect assures you some breathtaking
sunrise views as well as providing shady afternoons during the hot
summer days.
Inside the house
Coming into the house, you enter the large living
room of 25m2 with a large sofa. Included are all comforts like TV, DVD and
CD/Stereo player. There's a selection
of music and dvd's in the house (also some children's dvd's).
Opposite to the
living room is the kitchen. It has a spacious 15m2 open plan dining separated from the
kitchen by a breakfast bar. The dining has a large dining table with
chairs.
The kitchen is fully equipped, furnished and
fitted to the highest standards with fridge/freezer, hob, cooker, oven,
extractor, dishwasher and double sink. There is a utility room off the
kitchen with a washing machine, sink unit, cupboards and shelves.
Downstairs is the master bedroom with
a double bed and an large en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
The cupboards in the bedrooms are built-in and very spacious. The
French door open to the swimming pool terrace and ensure you very nice
sea views. All windows and doors are equipped with built-in mosquito
nets which give you the option to sleep with open doors/windows or to
use the air-conditioning.
From the living room the
marble stairs give access to the two upstairs bedrooms.
Both bedrooms
have their own bathroom and spacious built-in cupboards. They have have French doors opening onto the
east facing terrace which give you some spectacular views on the sunrise
in the morning. But you will have to be an early riser!
Also these
bedrooms both have air-conditioning and the windows and doors have built
in mosquito nets.
Bedroom number
one has a double bed.
Bedroom number two
has two single beds and is very suitable for kids. There is also a
baby cot available.
Outside the house
The large plot where the house is built on, was
originally an olive grove and the surroundings of the house have been
maintained as much as possible in their original state.
As a result, the
house maintains a very ‘country feel'. In the garden, there are with plenty of shade where one can enjoy
the splendid views from a hammock.
Next
to the house is a
separate BBQ area. With a large table and
chairs it gives plenty of space to enjoy the garden. This area has more
shade than the terrace and specially in the hot summer offers a nice
cool afternoon to have a bbq.
